When looking for a farmhouse, we can really recommend Slovkia.. Here you can buy big plots 100% in your own name. Most are former elongated farms. They were usually build together in a cooperative form. With the farm often comes a house, but they are usually not in very good condition.
The farms can still be found on working farms. They are still all over Slovakia and when looking for a property with lots of privacy, a tanya may be the right choice for you.
